This is our Cosecha de Sueños, our Harvest of Dreams. It’s a village-inspired community nestled beside a vineyard with sweeping views, the design of which draws from the deep roots of our experience of the past 80 years. This village is dedicated to your wellness; it is a place where you can draw strength and become your most resilient self. It is a place of belonging. It is a home of the heart where you can reconnect with nature and the healing rhythms of a life lived with spaciousness and beauty.
As our guests, we want to welcome you. Just as my parents, Deborah and Edmond Szekely pioneered a wellness movement in 1940, we invite you to co-create a community with like-minded friends. Together we can tend and cultivate a sustainable, thriving village employing the best balance of perennial wisdom and emerging technologies designed to support health and well-being in 2020.
As early as the 1930’s my father was leading a movement to bring balance to a European population impacted by industrialization. This quote comes from the heart of his healing philosophy: “Our adaptation to the natural forces is a question of existence or non-existence. We cannot transform the universe or nature so that they adapt themselves to us; on the contrary, we must adapt ourselves to nature and her laws.” These are extraordinary times where adaptation, positive change and reinvention of our daily practices and habits are essential. At The Residences you can live in an environment that enhances your immune system by supporting your well-being in a multitude of ways.
Imagine gracious brick, stone and tile houses overlooking a woodland stream and a flourishing vineyard adjacent to The Ranch on our 4,000-acre property; our vintners are reviving The Ranch tradition of organic grape cultivation central to our early healing programs and to the region. Every day is infused by locally-crafted wine and meals at The Winery Restaurant and Market where you shop for just-picked produce and other groceries. Your mornings begin with hikes along our 40-miles of mountain trails. Follow your hike with a short walk or bike ride to fitness, dance and art classes led by your favorite Ranch instructors in the heart of the village; you can enjoy a state-of-the-art gym or a swim in the pool. In the evenings you gather for concerts on a waterfront deck with your friends. The Residences will transform your life into a Ranch stay, with concierge service that brings ease and peace of mind to your everyday living.
